Black Resignation Must Lead To More Transparency

Commenting on the news that Lord (Conrad) Black is to step down as Chief Executive of Hollinger, the company that owns the Daily and Sunday Telegraph, Don Foster MP, Liberal Democrat Shadow Culture, Media and Sport Secretary said:

"Lord Black and his colleagues have done the honourable thing in resigning and promising to pay back the unauthorised payments.

Main Image"Hollinger must now concentrate on creating a simpler, more transparent corporate structure.

"At least we can assume that this is one job that Rupert Murdoch cannot bag for his family - they've all been given jobs in the business already."
