Commenting on the Government’s response to the CMS Select Committee’s report on ticket touting, Don said:

“After four summits and three years of posturing, the Government still has no idea how to deal with ticket touting.

"'Crown Jewel' proposals, where ticket re-sales are banned in certain circumstances, will only cover a tiny number of events. They will also cause even more confusion about secondary market rules.

"Two years ago ministers called on the industry to find a voluntary solution to ticket touting. Now we're just hearing the same thing again.

"We all want to see real fans get a fair deal, but the Government needs to come up with proposals that will actually make a difference."
