High Hedges Bill In Danger - Again!!

Bath's MP, Don Foster, has expressed his dismay that the report stage of the High Hedges Bill has been deferred until July 4th.

Main Image"This is a really good Bill, and will provide Councils with a quick, simple and cheap remedy to resolve the thousands of neighbourhood disputes that arise from high hedges," said Don.

"Now it's really in danger of not getting through Parliament. We must not have a repeat of the last bill on this issue that was wrecked by Tory filibustering.

"High Hedges have been a major disruption to neighbourhood harmony for far too long,"

"It's not just the enormous legal costs or the overwhelming stress that can be incurred that are important, but also the fact that these disputes can lead to serious illness - and indeed - in the worst cases, to violent assault."
