Don Foster MP*

Don tucked into a healthy breakfast at The House of Commons on Tuesday (10 February) alongside fellow MPs, as part of Cancer Research UKís Britainís Biggest All-Day Breakfast.

On Friday 12 March, Cancer Research UK hopes thousands of people throughout the country will follow suit and host their own breakfast parties for friends, family and colleagues.

This is now the sixth year that Britainís leading cancer charity has been holding Britainís Biggest All-Day Breakfast and the event has been growing all the time. The aim is to raise vital funds for its pioneering cancer research, as well as raising awareness about the importance of a healthy breakfast as a step towards good health. This year the charity hopes to raise over £250,000.

Don Foster MP said: ďI was delighted to join my parliamentary colleagues to support Cancer Research UKís Britainís Biggest All-Day Breakfast.

ďLots of us skip breakfast from time to time but itís one of the most important meals of the day. By holding a breakfast party at work or at home you can kick-start your day with a healthy breakfast and raise money for a great cause at the same time.Ē

Dr Lesley Walker Cancer Research UKís Director of Cancer Information, says: ďIt is great that so many MPs have joined us to help launch Britainís Biggest All-Day Breakfast.

ďThe event is a great chance to catch up with friends and family
and itís very easy to organise. On 12 March we hope thousands of people across the country will once again be waking up to a healthy breakfast and donating to Cancer Research UK as they do so.Ē

There is still time to join in the fun and all you have to do is make a breakfast date any time on or around Friday 12 March. By suggesting your guests each make a donation to come to your party, you will be playing a vital part in this national fundraising and awareness event.
